Frequently Asked Questions...
Which of these coins are worth keeping?
My mom has all kinds of coins that she says are worth holding onto just in case they become valuable in the future. But some of them just don't seem like they'd appreciate that much (most of them we have a least one that we're keeping, and are "extras")
2000/2001 Sacagawea dollars
presidential gold dollars (I already have at least one of each one I've seen)
silver dollars/half dollars
bicentennial quarters
wheat pennies
nickels with the weird designs on the back
2009 Lincoln pennies
a $2 bill
Answer:
Everything is WORTH keeping I mean you may not reap the benefits but your grandchildren may. The only reason being that all that stuff is not real .. I mean in terms of there gold and silver content, its just plain metal. The only real coins that retain and increase in value are pure gold and silver ones in mint condition. I'm not going to lie though I've got a chest full of Presidentials, sacs, and $2 bills ... lol! Its just not for me though, its for the generations that follow.
